How To Play

In ShapeShifter you are trying to fill a box with shaped blocks. You can play either as a puzzle game where you have all the shapes available to play whenever you choose as you try to fill the box completely. In the turn-based version, you only see 3 of the shapes at one time as you choose which to play.

The grid area on the left side of the screen is the box you are trying to fill. The shapes you'll use are on the right side of the screen. This is the shape drawer, and if you are playing the puzzle version this area can be scrolled to see all the shapes.

Note that above the shape drawer are two icons: ↻ and ⇔. These allow you to rotate or flip a shape before you place it. Just tap on the icon to select it, then tap on the shape in the drawer that you want to rotate or flip. Then be sure to tap on the icon again to turn this feature off.

To place a shape, just tap and drag it where you want it to go on the board, then release to drop it. If the puzzle version you can also drag a placed piece back to the drawer at any time. In the turn version once you place a piece that is where it stays, so place carefully! In either version when you are dragging a shape from the drawer, if you change your mind you can drop it back into the drawer.
